Voucher for Critical Expenses

Bostock Organics, an apple grower in New Zealand identified that addressing rising costs for every day essential items such as groceries and fuel would be a targeted project to address this growing stressor of the workforce. The overall cost of living has increased drastically compared to recent years. Essentials such as food and fuel have seen massive increases in price, meaning people must spend more money to maintain the same standard of living as in previous years. The goal of this project was to take the pressure off workers who are struggling with the rising cost of living. The Fair Trade Committee of Bostock invested $17,250 USD in Community Development Funds, which would project out to $173 USD each for 100 workers. The vouchers will be handed out to each NZ worker to use towards their grocery, fuel and other essential needs/costs.
