Scholarship Program

For many workers at CB Coconuts in Thailand, the cost of supporting a child’s education can be a significant financial burden. Textbooks, school supplies, and other educational expenses add up quickly, straining household budgets and creating stress or even a barrier to school attendance. To address this, worker launched a scholarship program in January 2024 with Community Development Funds to ease the financial pressure on workers' families. 118 families received scholarships for their children, helping them afford the supplies and opportunities their children need to succeed in school. Beyond the immediate financial relief, workers report feeling more valued and motivated, knowing their jobs are helping their families beyond a simple paycheck. And most importantly, their children are able to attend and stay in school, opening up brighter futures.
