Tetanus Vaccination Campaign

Project Description: Farmers in the SOCAHI cooperative voted to use their Fair Trade Community Development Funds to launch a tetanus vaccination program for the co-op's farmers and workers.
Reason for the Project: Cocoa farmers in the Ivory Coast use sharp tools when working in the orchards, making injuries and tetanus infection a serious risk.
Project Outcome: The campaign administered 865 vaccinations, addressing a major risk to cocoa farmers and workers
