Cleaning and personal hygiene supplies

Project Description: Sumitra Woodcraft factory workers voted to use their Fair Trade Community Development Funds to provide a variety of essential goods for workers and their families, including personal hygiene kits.
Reason for the Project: Workers at this factory face a high level of poverty, making it difficult to afford many home essentials, including basic cleaning and hygiene supplies.
Project Outcome: 700 workers regularly receive kits with hygiene supplies including towels, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, underwear, shaving supplies, bath soap, and detergent, delivering a significant quality-of-life improvement for workers and their families who otherwise cannot always afford these essentials.
