Member and Producer Appreciation

Project Description: Members of this farming cooperative voted to use their Fair Trade Community Development Premiums to provide gifts of appreciation. The goal was the show appreciation to members and producers and associated families.
Reason for the Project: The need for this project was to build community and connection of members and producers. This also serves as a method of recognition for those with improved productivity.
Project Outcome: This act of gift giving and distribution nurtures comradery and team spirit within cooperative. The days of the distribution, timed with the holiday season, was an opportunity for the members and producers to come together and recognize each other. In total 1477 gifts were distributed.
