Growing Together Environmental Learning for the Next Generation

In 2025, the Premium Management Team at Manufacturing Sportwear Joint Stock in Thai Binh, Vietnam launched “I Love the Environment,” an initiative designed to bridge environmental education with family engagement. The project was organized to celebrate International Women’s Day and culminated on Mother’s Day, inviting the children of factory employees to participate in an interactive online mini-game focused on practical environmental knowledge. Through accessible digital activities, children learned about everyday actions that support environmental protection. As part of the program, participants received cash prizes to purchase gifts for their mothers, alongside fruit-bearing trees for their families. This specific reward was chosen to honor a valued local tradition of tree planting. By bringing these fruit-bearing trees home, families could garden together, turning the act of planting into a shared lesson which reinforced environmental awareness through shared responsibility and care. With an investment of $14,130 USD from the 2025 Community Development Funds, the "I Love the Environment” project successfully reached 24,000 children and parents. By co-designing the initiative with workers and centering it on their families, the committee ensured the project held deep cultural significance while fostering environmental awareness and the well-being of the next generation.
