Education Scholarships

The Fair Trade Committee of Rajlakshmi Cotton Mills Pvt LTD -Howrah factory invested Community Development Funds towards annual scholarships that were performance based. The goal was to provide financial support and to encourage students to pursue a strong academic career to improve their long term quality of life. Overall, $3000 USD was utliized for 37 direct beneficiaries earning scholarships. The student was eligible for the USD equivalent of $60, $80 and $120 based of grade level and mark percentage.
