On March 31st, 2024, there were many destructive hail storms in the Assam region. Significant damaged occurred to residential roofs. The Fair Trade Committee decided to direct $4400 USD in Community Development Funds toward the distribution of good quality polyethene sheets to the affected Association members and other families. that were living in distress inside the estate. This emergency fund provided an immediate response for this local community.
