Elisur Organic S.A.C. is a Peruvian producer group in the Central Jungle region of Peru with 26 small holder farmers. Elisur Organic S.A.C. is known for its commitment to Fair Trade, sustainable and organic agriculture, and their specialization in the production, processing, and export of fresh ginger and turmeric. Their premium project focus areas are formalizing the organization, production inputs, auditing and certification, and administrative strengthening. The Fair Trade Committee invested $18,775 USD to implement these business development strategies. This is very typical in with small holder organizations as they are dedicated to continuing their certifications and strengthening their infrastructure to be strong and stable through the next generation. Fertilizer distribution was made available for all members for strengthening production capacity. In addition, company branding efforts included the purchase of corporate polo shirts, and cost were covered for member's participation in meetings and audits. Contingency funds were allocated to support two farmers impacted by issues in their ginger fields, demonstrating the cooperative’s commitment to member support and resilience.
